One of my biggest fears? Living my life on the edge of my finances.
Not knowing if I can do something because all the money I earn is already being used for bills even before I receive it.
I grew up in a family where love was always abundant and money wasn’t really a cause for distress. Well, at least it shouldn’t have been. I owe all my values to my Mom and my Dad. They taught me everything I stand for and for that, I’m infinitely grateful. Correction: they taught me ALMOST everything I stand for today.
Although I had a great childhood, with them doing the possible and impossible to raise 2 boys in the best way possible, the relationship they had with money, mainly my mom, wasn’t the best. I couldn’t really understand what went on at the time because I was a child and was way more interested in running around and playing soccer all day.
As I grew older, I found it strange how things didn’t add up and how so many years have passed by and the bills just seem to stay the same, if not bigger.
It was when my parents came to visit me in Australia that I sat down with my Mom to try to understand why she always had migraines and why she never had any extra money left. To my surprise, the situation was waaaaay bigger, and worse, than I could imagine, so right there that was my first moment organising someone’s REAL BAD finances and transforming it into a stress-free life.
Watching my parents always struggle with money, even when they actually had a good income, made me and my brother grow up having a very different relationship with money than the one they had.
I grew up always taking very good care of my money and always looking for the best strategies to keep myself from living in debt, while at the same time learning that it is ok to spend part of your money to actually live your life instead of just collect coins in an endless process until you realise you don’t have any more time in life to spend whatever you gathered.
Nowadays, my goal is simple: Help as many people as I can to aid their financial life, by teaching how to better manage money and time to finally live a stress-free and also enjoyable life.

Like any other human being, especially a Woman, I L-O-V-E spend money and buy everything I want. Yes, I'm a lover of travel, adventure, and all of life's luxuries, just like you.
Now, as I share my story with you, I want to show you (yes YOU), that you can do it too, if you do it wisely and understand that this is not just about the numbers or the budgets. It's about the dreams they fuel. The 'intangible' that becomes tangible. A little of my journey – a collage of money-saved, money-spent, and lessons learned –for you to draw inspiration from.
I am known by my friends as a very consumerist person and absolutely with NO limits. They joke that I spend a lot on everything.
I have always been an ambitious person, since I was a little girl, I used to ask my grandparents for "the change" from the money that they used to use to buy bread for breakfast. Through that, I started to save money and give value to things, which made me count and realize how much I needed in cash to buy things I wanted as a kid. As I grew, I kept using the money in my favor. I'm a big fan of math and numbers, and I believe that increased my passion for money. I used to bake cakes and sell them at school with my friends, raising money for graduation. I remember multiplying every penny and making more.
Because I love spending money not only on material things but also events and adventures, I had to learn how to control my finances and my time to use them both properly and still have what I wanted. I was very concerned about my "name" or here called "credit score", because without that I knew I couldn't acquire things I wanted. When I started to work and have my pay, I created a simple spreadsheet that allowed me to input every expense I had according to the payments I used to receive. That was my first step to becoming a saver. I knew exactly how much I had left for each expense and how much I could spend on anything else. Even though things would come gradually, as I didn't want to be in debt, I can say I had it all with patience and a few installments. I remember forcing all my coworker to use it too, and I heard from them that this changed their lives as well.
With a background in Business Commerce and IT, I've learned to value organization both in my career and personal finances. Business taught me how to give the right value to each thing, and IT came to complement my life with a touch of technology, allowing me to be aware of smart tools or even the correct use of good and old spreadsheets.
Inspired by the insights of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," I understood early on what that all meant to me, I began by saving the "change", managing my cash flow, acquiring assets, and learning how to make the money work for me and not against me. I had a few businesses in the past, one very short with video and photography (another passion, but not a career) and another one a little longer where I opened a Salon from zero, both required a lot of planning and strategy, as I am not a photographer nor a hairdresser, the experiences added a lot of knowledge in time and finance management to my life. As the owner, I was responsible for managing all expenses and paychecks, as well as marketing creation and advertisement.
All that brought me where I am today after accomplishing my biggest dream of living abroad. I learned from baking sales for school events to managing the finances of my small businesses. Each step was a lesson in making every penny count and not letting impulse spending dictate my life's direction.
With organisation of your time and money, you will be able to achieve YOUR craziest goal in life. My intangible dream of building a new life abroad was realized through meticulous budgeting and strategic planning, not through a hefty inheritance or a stroke of luck. Dreams can become real if you take action towards them. I can say now that I learned how to be a Prime Saver, having an average income.
